Unit 42 discusses details of a waterhole attack on the President of Myanmar’s website, including known details of the watering hole, interesting characteristics of the delivered Evilgrab sample, and the threat infrastructure associated with the attack.

Palo Alto Networks researcher Bo Qu discovered three new critical Internet Explorer (IE) vulnerabilities affecting IE versions 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Gartner’s annual Security & Risk Management Summit was held this week. At the summit, Palo Alto Network CSO Rick Howard was joined by Ted Wagner, CISO of SAP National Security services, for a session titled, “Four Cybersecurity Innovations to Give You Courage.”

Rick Howard also teamed up with State of Colorado security leaders for a webinar to discuss making organizations safer through security excellence.
