A few weeks ago we told you about a number of new resources on the way for Palo Alto Networks government and public sector customers, including our Twitter feed (@NGS_Gov). Over the next few weeks, as we continue to expand our social media efforts, you’ll see even more emphasis on this hugely important Palo Alto Networks customer base here on the Government section of the blog.

Palo Alto Networks serves government customers in over 70 countries on five continents. And while we hope to see you at many events this year throughout the world, we’re excited to announce our next Federal Expert Forum in Washington, D.C. on May 15.

Close to many of our U.S. federal government customers, the event will be held this year at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.  We’re happy to bring together Palo Alto Networks executives and product experts to spend the day talking about many exciting developments for you.

Scheduled presenters include Palo Alto Networks Chairman, President and CEO Mark McLaughlin, as well as our Chief Security Officer, Rick Howard, who will speak to how an intelligence team helps win the APT battle. You’ll learn more about how to address your data center security requirements as well as security for any of your virtualization projects in all parts of your network.  And we will bring you the latest on advanced threat prevention – understand everything from virtual sandboxing of newly discovered and zero-day attacks and APTs to our unique means to thwart lateral movement within your network.

We hope that you can join us in D.C. for our exciting lineup! Register online today.

In the meantime, please enjoy your new government blog and head to our main government page for all the latest updates and events. E-mail me at pwarren@paloaltonetworks.com and let me know what you think.
